In this month’s edition of Thoughtful Thursdays, we recognize five inspiring agents who make time to give back to their surrounding communities.
First is Victoria Strombom, leading coastal REALTOR® since 1985. Victoria volunteers with the Laguna Beach High School Scholarship Foundation and the K.I.M. Keep Imagining More Project, which was created in honor of her late daughter and finds ways to use, repurpose, and recycle resources to help others. She also supports organizations including the Laguna Beach Boosters, Boys & Girls Club, and Fristers.
Next we have Jennifer Allert, who is heavily involved with Home for A Home, a nonprofit whose mission is providing housing to underprivileged families in Guatemala. Her generosity transcends borders — she has actually made the journey to Guatemala to meet the recipient family of a home she funded in person.
Meet another pair of amazing agents: Jim Kline and Alexei “Lex” Sarna of the Kline | Sarna Group. Jim Kline is a founding member of the Andersen Elementary School DEANS, an organization that was created to help supplement the already outstanding educational program at Andersen Elementary School. Jim and Lex sponsor the DEANS Annual Golf Tournament, a popular neighborhood event that is highly anticipated every year in the Port Streets and beyond.
Lastly, Carolyn Mower of Carolyn Mower Group is a passionate advocate for women’s health who has helped organizations including Valiant Women of Mission Hospital, Mission Hospital Foundation, Assisteens of Capistrano Valley, Girl Scouts of Orange County, and St. Margaret’s Episcopal School. She loves volunteering and having a positive impact on people she may never meet face to face.
