A model that has been in the works for years, the German producers deems the BMW i8 Roadster a “super hybrid”. The innovative motor produces 143bhp for a total gas-electric power output of 374bhp with a full electric charge taking you 34 miles before the engine takes over. The car reaches 62 miles per hour in 4.6 seconds maxing out at 155 miles per hour. Another perk? You can retract the roof in 16 seconds while moving at 30 miles per hour or less.

Porsche Panamera Turbo S e-hybrid

“The world’s most powerful luxury sedan,” this Porsche has the power of 680 horses and 626 pound-feet of torque. A gorgeous hybrid option, this car is inclusive of a high-voltage, lithium-ion battery that will travel 30 miles on an electric charge alone before the engine takes over. It tops out at 192 miles per hour and hits 60 miles per hour in 3.2 seconds.
