The shops of Lido Marina Village invite everyone to Labor Day at Lido! On Saturday, September 3 from 12-4 p.m., Newport Beach’s revitalized waterside destination welcomes the community for a fun afternoon of live entertainment, food, and shopping at exclusive stores that can’t be found anywhere else in OC. There will also be coffee by Honor Coffee and food trucks including Crepes Bonaparte, The Bakery Truck, and Poke Hut parked along Via Oporto. Additionally, a select group of stores will be offering specials including giveaways, complimentary beverages, and more.
Lido Marina Village’s refresh began two years ago, and the revitalization is almost complete. Other planned amenities for the Village include a valet stand, an outdoor fireplace, a main deck with picnic tables, festive lighting, a boat pond, and an array of dining establishments, from casual eateries to upscale restaurants such as the celebrated Japanese restaurant Nobu, which is scheduled to open this winter. In addition to Nobu, Publica by Zinque, Juice Served Here, Honor Coffee Roasters, Lido Bottle Works (craft beer, wine, tapas), and L’Isoletta (traditional Italian cuisine) will also welcome Village patrons.
A current trend in retail is that consumers have a desire to shop local, and Lido Marina Village’s selection of casual-luxe shops should appeal greatly to the Newport community. With an edited and curated approach to modern retailing, the Village features a mix of boutiques and eateries that are exclusive to the area. Among the shops now open are Elyse Walker, Clare V, Bailey 44, Warby Parker, Steven Alan, Faherty, Eberjey, Jenni Kayne, Alchemy Works Harbor House, Planet Blue, Charlie & Me, TreSs Apothecary & Salon, and Curl Fitness. Additionally, Lido Village Books, a favorite of local bibliophiles, has reopened after being closed for a remodel. Other shops scheduled to open this fall include Le Labo (master perfumer) and Serena & Lily (home decor). A grand unveiling will take place later this fall, but why not get an early look at the new Lido Marina Village this Labor Day weekend? Shop, eat, and enjoy live music this Saturday at the newest hot spot for local tastemakers.
