Newport Beach Restaurants

For an exceptional culinary experience, take your date to Sushi Roku. Executive Chef Shin Toyoda features global ingredients throughout the menu to create a contemporary sushi experience unlike any other in the region. Certified sake sommeliers and mixologists have crafted a diverse and exceptional beverage menu to compliment the cuisine.

Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar presents a special three-course Prix-Fixe menu featuring an 8-oz. filet mignon paired with choice of panko-crusted New Zealand Ora King salmon or succulent Australian lobster tail. Both options include a seared shrimp & sea scallop amuse bouche and salad selection. JCB French bubbly by Jean-Charles Boisset will also be available by the glass.

At Provenance, Chef Cathy Pavlos is serving up some savory nosh this Valentine’s Day. Patrons will enjoy a 4-course Prix-Fixe menu featuring your choice of dishes such as Black Canyon Filet Mignon and Plancha-Seared Whole Boneless Wild Greek Branzino. Gluten-free and vegetarian options are available upon request.

Fig & Olive is also offering an exclusive feature, a special 3-course menu with an optional wine pairing for Valentine’s Day. Additionally, Fig & Olive will be offering a special menu for two called “Romantic Week” beginning Sunday, February 12 to Sunday, February 19. Menu highlights include Crostinis trio, Whole Branzino for 2 (with two sides) and a bottle of Veuve Clicquot.

Laguna Beach Restaurants

At Driftwood Kitchen in Laguna Beach, Executive Chef Rainer Schwarz presents a 3-course Prix-Fixe Valentine’s dinner menu from 4:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Guests can indulge in dishes such as Pan-Seared New Bedford Sea Scallops, Butternut Squash and Maine Lobster Gnocchi, Greater Omaha Black Angus Beef Filet Mignon & Braised Short Rib, and Virginia Black Sea Bass. A romantic champagne toast is included, too.

An incredible, oceanfront dinner at The Loft at Montage Laguna Beach is guaranteed to impress your date this Valentine’s Day. Chef Michael Campbell has an exquisite 4-course Prix-Fixe menu prepared, and guests can look forward to Dungeness Crab Ravioli, Butter-Poached Halibut, Boudin Blanc Stuffed Quail, and a Bone-In Rib-Eye For Two.

Selanne Steak Tavern also features a special menu for Valentine’s Day. The Prix-Fixe menu includes Jidori chicken with parsnip; Dover sole with lemon risotto, English peas, caviar and beurre monté; or American Wagyu tenderloin with pommes puree, pickled trumpet mushrooms and bordelaise.

Romantic Valentines Day Dinner Cruise – For an unforgettable Valentine’s Day celebration this year, take to the water with a 3-hour Hornblower cruise around scenic Newport Harbor. The excursion begins with a boarding glass of champagne, followed by a delicious 5-course meal at a private candlelit table, romantic views, DJ entertainment, and dancing.

 

Valentines Day Sunset Cruise – Dana Wharf Cruises also features a romantic sunset cruise aboard the Dana Pride. This Valentine’s Day cruise includes complimentary chocolate treats and bottomless champagne.

Garden Luminaria Walk and Dinner – In Corona del Mar, the charming Sherman Library and Gardens presents a Valentine’s Day Garden Luminaria Walk and Dinner, where guests are invited to take an illuminated, romantic stroll inspired by love. A special dinner follows at Café Jardin, where the “Love You ‘Berry Much’ ” menu features entrees such as sautéed prime beef sirloin or roasted duck breast.
