    Celebrate all things Scotland at Scottish Fest. Head to the Orange County Fair & Event Center on May 27 – 28 for two days of family fun. Expect bagpipes, Highland dancing, food, shopping, and more.

  3. Visit Sea Legs on the Beach · Huntington Beach

    On May 27, visit Sea Legs on the Beach with your four-legged friend. He or she will love the Doggy Day Bruch event! The next day, May 28, is Brunch with the Beatles: live music, a new brunch menu, and bottomless bubbles.

  4. Wartime Radio Revue · San Clemente

    Travel back to the ’40s on May 29 for a Wartime Radio Revue. In Park Semper Fi, the Wartime Radio Singers and Swingtet will perform an outdoor show for the Marine Monument at noon.

  5. Run a Half Marathon · Laguna Hills

    On May 29, the City of Laguna Hills will host a half marathon, diaper dash, 5K and 10K races, and a kids half race. This is the perfect Memorial Day event for active families who love the outdoors! Register ahead of time online to reserve a spot.

  6. Candle Lighting Ceremony · Irvine

    Lest we forget the reason for Memorial Day, the City of Irvine will host a couple different events to honor our fallen heroes. On May 28, visit Northwood Community Park for its annual Northwood Memorial Candle Lighting Ceremony. On May 29, attend another Memorial Day ceremony to pay homage to the sacrifice of veterans who lost their lives.

  7. Field of Honor · San Juan Capistrano

    Take a trip to Mission San Juan Capistrano through May 29th. The Mission courtyard is transformed into a Field of Honor with over 400 American flags in honor of fallen veterans (including K-9 and equestrian heroes!). A bonus? Active duty, veterans, and first responders receive free admission.

  8. Kayak Harbor Tour · Dana Point

    Explore the ocean from the water in this two-hour interactive event. Tour the Dana Point Harbor and learn about its history and unique ecosystem. An expert naturalist serves as your guide on this tour, where all experience levels are welcome. Be sure to buy tickets online ahead of time at OceanInstitute.org.
