Surterre Properties hosted their semi-annual blood drive on Friday, February 22nd, 2019. The blood drive was sponsored by the American Red Cross and was located at Surterre’s Monarch Beach office location (33522 Niguel Road). Thanks to Sandy Rabahieh, who organized and set up the event, and the Surterre agents, staff, and community members who came out to support this great cause, enough blood was donated to the American Red Cross to save 60 patient lives.
Surterre Properties began partnering with the American Red Cross in 2008 to help support and educate the community about the importance of blood donation. Year after year, the Surterre events prove to be successful as our agents, employees, and community understand that the American Red Cross does not need blood – patients do. Every two seconds, someone in America gets a blood transfusion, and five million patients will need blood this year.
