In this week’s edition of Thoughtful Thursdays, we recognize Michael Wortel, an inspiring agent who spreads joy during the holiday season by volunteering with ABC7 Spark of Love Toy Drive, an annual event held in conjunction with Southern California firefighters. Michael believes that giving back helps him keep perspective and make an impact on a grassroots level in an industry devoted to luxury service.
According to Michael, a highlight of his philanthropy has been needing to take multiple drop-off trips to the firehouse because there were too many donated toys to fit in his car at once. One thing he has learned through his work with Spark of Love Toy Drive is that it’s easy to get people involved if you simply ask them.
