Congratulations to Our 2018 Photo Scholarship Winners

Congratulations to the Winners of Our 4th Annual High School Photography Scholarship Contest

Here at Surterre, we love all forms of creativity just as much as we love supporting our beautiful local communities. This is why for the past four years, we’ve held our annual High School Photography Scholarship Contest. Aspiring high school photographers had the chance to win scholarships to put toward their continuing education by submitting amazing lifestyle photos highlighting the best that Orange County has to offer — and we’ve chosen the winners!

Our first place winner is Andrew Seidler of Northwood High School, who impressed with a photo of the lifeguard adjacent to Balboa Pier in Newport Beach.

Our second place winner is Nic Christiano of Newport Harbor High School, who captured an epic wave at The Wedge in Newport Beach.

Third place resulted in a tie between Robert Clemente of Canyon High School, whose stunning photo depicted a lake in Corona.

The other third-place winner Nic Christiano with a sunset photo of a surfer walking along the sand in Newport Beach.

Congratulations to the winners, and thank you to all the amateur photographers who entered! It was absolutely incredible to see the talent and imagination that our gorgeous Southern California neighborhoods inspire.
