“Art, Jazz, Wine and Chocolate” Series – Festival of Arts

What could be sweeter than an evening that combines wine, chocolate, and fine art set to the soulful sounds of jazz music? Every Thursday until August 25, the Festival of Arts of Laguna Beach presents the “Art, Jazz, Wine and Chocolate” series in the festival’s beautiful outdoor setting.

On Thursday, July 28, attendees can indulge in a wide variety of Cambria wines that were selected especially to complement and enhance the flavor of XAN Confections. While savoring the premium wines and decadent chocolates, arts enthusiasts can enjoy the sounds of featured performer Eric Marienthal, an award-winning jazz saxophonist. With its mix of fine art, live music, sips, and gourmet chocolate, the event has all the essential ingredients for an enjoyable evening.

Additional performers scheduled for the remainder of the “Art, Jazz, Wine and Chocolate” series include Brian Simpson on August 4, Gregg Karukas on August 11, Billy Valentine on August 18, and Charged Particles on August 25. Concerts are free; Wine and Chocolate pairings (21 and over) are $20, in addition to Festival of Arts admission. Limited seating is available in the reserved section for an additional $25 per person by calling (800) 487-3378. For more information on this Thursday evening series, visit www.foapom.com.

Other special events offered at the Festival of Arts this season include Art and Story Time, Books and Brunch, Rising Stars Music Series, Art Talks: A Lecture Series, Concerts on the Green, Festival Runway Fashion, and Sunday Afternoon in the Park Music Series.
