To onlookers, Spyro Kemble is often recognized for his unique accent and pearly white smile that landed him a cast member role on the Bravo TV series Real Estate Wars. To the real estate buyer or seller, it’s his 35 years of couture customer service and knowledge of complex markets and transaction closings that make him stand out. To his peers, however, Spyro is known as the “mentor in demand” not only due to his $50 million in annual sales, but also because of his commitment to giving back to future generations of aspiring realtors. As he explains,

“When I started in the industry, my broker threw a book at me and told me to just ‘look it up.’ I struggled relentlessly and failed many times before finally finding a successful strategy. My mission is to help up-and-coming agents eliminate some of the unnecessary hurdles I went through. This industry has blessed me in many ways, so I believe it’s my turn to pay it forward.”

Having joined Surterre Properties® in 2007, Spyro is a staple in the agency best known for its professionalism and support of its agents. A trusted advisor for both colleagues and clients with a network of prestigious connections across the globe, he has amassed more than a half billion dollars in home sale transactions over his storied career. This achievement led to Spyro being a featured speaker at conferences including Inman Luxury Connect and a contributing writer to Inman and various other real estate publications. His most recent media endeavor includes the release of his first book Reality Check: Lessons Learned, Candor & Consequence (available on amazon.com), in which he shares valuable information he learned on the road to success. 

Born in Germany, Spyro immigrated to the United States at age 13. He is a proud UCLA graduate and Bruin fan with a degree in economics and finance. In college, Spyro was on the wrestling team, an experience that sharpened his competitive drive. He now resides in Newport Beach, California — his stomping grounds of success — with his wife Tracy and their beloved Samoyed Habibi. Spyro is a former president of the Newport Beach Association of REALTORS® and current board member of nonprofit organization the W.I.N. Foundation, which provides assistance and empowerment to abused women. In his free time, Spyro can often be found enjoying a fine cigar and a glass of scotch, and throughout the year at his vacation home in the Greek Isles.
