  1. Avenue of the Arts Costa Mesa, A Tribute Portfolio Hotel

This new hotel is located in the middle of it all. Blocks from South Coast Plaza and mere minutes from The CAMP and The Lab, it is a true city-center retreat. Beautiful lakeside suites set the stage for a restful vacation — or staycation!

  2. Orange County Museum of Art (OCMA)

OCMA just underwent a $94.5 million renovation — now that’s something to see! Now permanently housed at Segerstrom Center of the Arts, OCMA is the perfect place to spend an afternoon. “13 Women: Variation II,” OCMA’s most recent exhibit, highlights the women surrounding OC’s premier art hall in 1962.

  3. Segerstrom Center for the Arts

What’s new in the theater scene? First, the “Mean Girls” musical is slated for March 7 – 19. Broadway icon Kristin Chenoweth performs March 10 – 11. Next, check out “Hairspray” from April 18 – 30 and “Chicago” from May 16 – 21.

  4. Cowboys and Poodles

Cowboys and Poodles may have started out as a speakeasy, but its popularity may have made it a bit more mainstream. Located outside The CAMP, this hotspot is unlike any other bar in the area. It’s Western theme is playful and inviting, and the drinks are absolutely delightful. We recommend the Whole Mood cocktail for maximum joy!

  5. South Coast Plaza

What’s new at this shopping Mecca? The cult clothing brand Reformation opens its doors soon. Get excited for vintage-style floral dresses! Also, Ganni — minimalist daywear with a Nordic inspiration — is a great new addition. JD Sports is also a newcomer, which features top sneaker brands. For your wedding needs, check out Monique Lhuillier and Thom Browne.

  6. Boil and Bake
