In this week’s edition of Thoughtful Thursdays, we recognize Rebecca Anderson, an inspiring agent who makes time to give back to her community by volunteering with organizations including Casa Teresa, Patrick’s Purpose, Sus Hijos, Teen Project, CHOC’s Glass Slipper Guild, and Giving Children Hope. Rebecca believes that giving back is the only way to achieve real happiness, and she says that volunteering brings her great joy and peace.
Rebecca has been donating her time to Casa Teresa, an organization dedicated to supporting homeless pregnant women in crisis, for the past 15 years. She was also recently elected as a board member of Casa Teresa, which is a position she is thrilled to hold.
Some additional highlights of Rebecca’s philanthropy have been the three mission trips she’s taken to El Salvador with her daughter Bella. On each trip, Rebecca and Bella brought over 200 dresses and threw a beautiful quinceañera for the children of more than 100 orphanages, who would have otherwise never been able to celebrate such a monumental life event.
